Born in Stuttgart in 1969, Alexander Müller began learning piano and violin at an early age and discovered his love of music as a choral singer. During his school days, he took part in numerous choirs and orchestras in school as well as in church. In his teens, he became a fan of the Stuttgart Ballet and Opera.

After completing his studies in business administration in Stuttgart, he moved to Munich in order to study theater arts, German philology and art history (M.A. thesis on Cranko's "Onegin"). To support himself during these studies, he worked in the logistics department at Siemens, later Infineon Technologies. Among other positions, he was employed as personal assistant of several project managers. From 1996 to 2000 he ran a project office for up to 80 employees from 15 nations. During this time, he also worked as a journalist, orchestra attendant and even courier.

In addition to periods of study in Venice and Paris, Alexander Müller has traveled regularly to the opera centers of Europe. His collection of opera recordings comprises more than 7000 titles. His avid pursuit of productions since 1992 has both contributed to, and profited from, his social involvment with artists and members of the Bavarian State Opera. Having completed his studies of theater, he worked also temporarily at the press office of the Bavarian State Ballet.

Since 1998 he has taken on minor roles in many film productions and has been responsible for extras on the sets of various German television series such as "Marienhof", "Tatort", "Die Rote Meile", "Sylvia" and others. In this position, he worked closely with the assistant directors, sharing their jobs.

Alexander Müller is a member of the artist group D.i.A. (Berlin/Basel/München/Torino). Presenting texts, photographs and art installations, he took part on several exhibitions, including most recently “Elementazione” at Portovenere, Italia, and “ZellenSpeicher” at ntAreal Basel, Switzerland, in October 2002.

From 2000 to 2003, he worked at Sintow-Behrens International Promotions, mainly supporting opera singers. His responsibilities included career development and consulting, public relations, individual promotion and artistic management as well as bookkeeping, system administration and technical support. He has worked personally with Ks. Bernd Weikl, Doris Soffel, Roberto Scandiuzzi, Fredrika Brillembourg and Carlo Guelfi, among others.

Since 2004, Alexander Müller has been doing freelance work. In 2006 he started to work as a tour guide. His repertory includes tours about national socialism, middle ages, olympic park, shopping, hangmen prostitutes and witches, King Ludwig II., epidemics, Schwabing, painting galleries, Nymphenburg, victuals market, beer, ghosts and tours by bike or bus. Of course he is showing Neuschwanstein, Wies, Herrenchiemsee and Andechs, too. His favorite tour is the night-watch-man.

From 2009-2018, he worked for the patent law firm Stolmár & Partner in Munich, from 2015 as a permanent member of the validation department.

Since 2018, Alexander Müller has been working for the patent law firm Wallinger Ricker Schlotter Tostmann in Munich, where his responsibilities include IT support and the validation of European patents.
